Cutty Sark invites little adventurers on board

Cutty Sark

The Cutty Sark is the world’s only surviving tea clipper, the fastest ship of it’s time, and an adventure packed day out for the family in June

Words Miriam Carey

The Cutty Sark is the world’s only surviving tea clipper, the fastest ship of her time. She was built in Scotland in 1869 and designed to carry tea from China to England as fast as possible. The record-breaking ship travelled the globe and visited every major world port.

Now she’s back on on terra firma visitors are welcomed on board the award winning attraction this summer to explore the ship’s fascinating history and learn what life was like on board.

Little and large alike, visitors are invited to take hold of the wheel, visit the sailors quarters, and touch the original hull planks and framework.

Interactive Family Fun
