Created back in 2012 by Lucy Gaiger and Conchita-Maria Scott, Atticus & Gilda specialises in making super-high quality sleepwear for children.

Happily, both ladies have backgrounds in making exceptional clothes: Lucy has dressed many of the world’s greatest actors during her career as a costume designer from Helen Mirren to Nicole Kidman: in the quiet moments while away from her family on tour Lucy would make outfits for her children, including a replica of the “Wendy” nightdress in her daughter’s favourite book “Peter Pan”.

Meanwhile, Conchita began her career as a stylist for fashion magazines, including ID, Brides and Cosmopolitan and has many years experience styling the great and the good of theatre and film. Alongside costume design, she has had her own millinery business, and spent three years working for Sam Mendes during his tenure at the Donmar Warehouse.

Having worked together on many hit musical theatre productions, from Mamma Mia! to Phantom, Lucy and Conchita decided to collaborate on a project of their own.

United by their love of good design and a desire to make beautiful things for littles, Conchita and Lucy began by creating a collection of pyjamas and nightdresses inspired by the theatre, using beautiful natural fabrics like cotton, linen and silk.

These clothes make great presents for littles, and we can’t wait to see what comes next from these ladies.
