SHNUGGLE SQUISHY CHANGING MAT £59.95
For home changing options, there is little choice in terms of design and comfort for baby. Most mats made from vinyl or plastic which can be cold for baby’s sensitive skin and therefore making the changing nappy experience a little more stressful. The Squishy is all about baby’s comfort and hygiene during changing, to make parents lives a little easier.
Apart from the aesthetically pleasing curved design, Squishy is made from a special non-toxic, baby safe, soft foam material which holds room temperature and therefore is warm to the touch for baby’s skin. No shock of cold vinyl here! Or the need to place a towel down first.
The mat is slightly inclined – firstly to help babies with colic and reflux, where lying flat may be of discomfort, but secondly to help with any little accidents – especially for little girls (as little boys pee can be a little unpredictable at times!). The urine flows to the bottom of Squishy which helps not only keep baby dry during changes, but also avoids any discomfort caused if baby has nappy rash – urine can be extremely painful on sore bums!
The Squishy has a lip around the entire mat – helping keep baby secure, but also to stop any little accidents from escaping – simply mop up any little pools in the base of Squishy.
Due to the room temperature retaining material, Squishy is perfect for taking time for some baby massage and the slight incline is also great for some tummy time too!
Available in a choice of 3 neutral colours, Squishy’s modern, sleek design and colour options make it a functional yet beautiful addition to any nursery interior design.
