Popular Chelsea members club for little ones Purple Dragon is opening in a new venue over the river

The team behind the brilliant Purple Dragon in Chelsea have just announced the first foray of their expansion plan, with a new club opening on Upper Richmond Road in Putney in June.

Members will be able to cook up a storm in the Masterchef-inspired kitchen; create a masterpiece in the art lab; jam with band in the music studio; burn off steam in adventures & explorers (complete with giant web, monster ball run, and an agility maze); dance, stretch, throw, roll and strike a pose in the studio; enter the giant kaleidoscope and explore light and shadow in the light lab.

Meanwhile grown ups can relax, chat and catch up with some work in the drawing room, knowing their charges are happy and safe.

The wide range of experiences on offer (including streetdance, ballet, jedi training and yoga) are perfect for all ages from 6 months up, and particularly the tricky ‘tween’ age where littles desperately want their independence, but aren’t ready to go out into the world alone yet; a youth club on weekend evenings will also be available for the slightly older ones.

Together with healthy nutritious food served all day and a licensed bar, Purple Dragon offers the perfect balance of adult-friendly child time.

Founder of Purple Dragon, Sharai Meyers said, “We are so excited to be opening PD’s Little Brother in Putney. It’s an area we love and we’ve been looking for the perfect space for a while. We can’t wait to welcome everyone in June’.

Most members at Chelsea use the club on average twice a week. At Putney when you join you will choose the days you will want to attend. If a whole day is too much you can split your day over a morning one day and an afternoon another day. For example, you would book in for Monday mornings and Thursday afternoons. Once you’ve chosen your day(s) then you’re all set for the year – and for days when your plans chance the club even has a function on its app so you can swap up your days with other parents.

Membership is a minimum of one year with fees from £884 per quarter: find out more visit www.purpledragonplay.com.
