As one of the founding members of Made in Chelsea, until recently Binky Felstead was best known lead member of the jet-set gang living the high life and documenting it all on the hit reality TV show.

That was until earlier this year when Binky surprised her fans when she announced she was expecting a baby with her co-star and on/off boyfriend Josh ‘JP’ Peterson. In June she gave birth to a baby girl, India, and since then has spent her time focusing on all things motherhood.

“I’m really loving the whole thing – the love I have for India is indescribable and it’s just growing. The lack of sleep is hard, but overall I’m enjoying it, dirty nappies and all. It really has completed me,” says the 27 year-old.

Inspired by how much she enjoys dressing baby India, Binky has collaborated with childrenswear brand My 1st Years to design a collection of baby clothes and accessories.

“It’s a dream come true because I’ve been a customer of My 1st Years for years – it’s my go-to shop for baby and children’s gifts,” says Binky.

“My collection has 10 wardrobe staples in two simple, classy, classic prints – Pink Crown or Blue Splash. There’s a sleepsuit, pyjama set, comforter, blanket and a selection of bibs – all can be personalised.  It’s available from 0-3 months to 5-6 years and prices start from £9 as we wanted to ensure everything was still very affordable because babies and children grow so fast.”

She has loved designing such pretty baby clothes for both boys and girls. “If you pushed me I’d say my favourite piece is  the pink personalised babygrow because this is what India is living in, and her personalised bib. For boys I love the PJ set with personalised pocket.”

Binky and Josh recently starred in their own show ‘Born in Chelsea’ following their experience as new parents.

“We’re loving it,” she says when asked how the pair are adapting to parenthood. “We’re a great team. I’m an early bird and he is a night owl so it’s worked out well. He’s really taken to fatherhood, it’s great to see.”

Both are looking forward to their daughter’s first Christmas. “We’re planning on spending Christmas in the Sussex countryside with my family and sister, who has had her baby recently too.”

But before that Binky will be launching more of her collection. “I have some gorgeous bits coming out for Christmas so keep a look-out and we loved filming Born in Chelsea so watch this space.”
