Absolutely Mama Editor Carly Glendinning rounds up all of her favourite things for parents and kids this month
We’ve been well and truly gearing up for Christmas this month (have you seen our edit of the best kids Christmas jumpers and our top kids advent calendar ideas?) and my favourite launches this month would all make great gift ideas. From amazing charity Christmas cards supporting Mummy’s Star, to big tree present ideas for mamas and minis, scroll down to see my curated edit below.
The top baby products right now…
Blade & Rose X Miffy
Fans of Miffy (putting my hand up here!) will love this uber cute collaboration between childrenswear brand Blade & Rose and the iconic character. Miffy, the world-renowned bunny created by Dutch artist Dick Bruna features in a capsule collection of snuggly baby leggings, a long sleeved top, and matching socks.

Rosy Nicholas Charity Card Set
How gorgeous are these charity Christmas cards designed by artist and prop designer Rosy Nicholas? Rosy was diagnosed with stage 4 bowel cancer when she was seven months pregnant. She was supported by a charity called Mummy’s Star who help (many) women going through the same awful situation. For the past three years Rosy has designed charity Christmas cards for them, with the full profit going right back to the charity (£10 per pack!).

PO.P X Moomins
PO.P (formally known as Polarn O. Pyret) has launched a new exclusive design collaboration featuring illustrations from Tove Jansson’s much loved stories of the Moomin’s. The partnership marks the celebration of Moomin’s 80th anniversary in 2025 and is the first of two collection releases, with part one due out now and part two due to release in Spring 2025.

Veja X Big Stuffed
Eco trainer brand VEJA and toy favourite BigStuffed collaborated in 2013 when VEJA opened Centre Commercial Kids. Now over ten years later, they have come together again to create two unisex trainer designs for little ones in suede and fleece. The super cool V-10 styles feature an embroidered eye motif reminiscent of BigStuffed’s popular characters. There’s a kids style and a baby style – which I think would be so cute for sibling matching.

Finnsøn
I’m a big fan of Finnsøn’s eco friendly changing bags so I was excited to see that they’ve launched a new collection. The brand’s AW24 offering includes their first ever lunch and snack cool bag, a brand-new stroller
mitten, footmuffs, and new changing bag designs. I got to see the Freya Eco Oversized Stroller Organiser at an event recently and the bigger size is the dream! I always struggle to fit enough outfits and snacks into my stroller organiser, so I’ll definitely be upgrading to the Freya (shown above right).

Eyas
I met Eyas recently at event and I loved their story of being a husband and wife and parent duo (both doctors) on a mission to promote optimal baby development. Their popular Gallery® is a first-of-its-kind, black-and-white sensory gallery that attaches to the roof of your pram, so it’s directly positioned in baby’s visual field. The brand has now launched the Gallery® in a paediatrician-endorsed colour version. As babies reach 2-4 months, the maturation of little one’s eye cells enables them to start seeing colour. The Gallery® in colour provides the right level of visual and cognitive stimulation for engaging your little one. So clever!

Hippychick
When my daughter started pulling herself up, we decided not to get a baby walker as we felt it would be a big item to get if she was only going to use it for a very short amount of time. So I love this new launch from Hippychick. A cute little walker-come-wooden kitchen toy, you’ll get loads of play out of this beyond their first steps. A great present for under the tree if your little one is on the cusp of walking this Christmas.
