Calling all superhero boys and girls: Pearl Lowe x Selfish Mother limited edition capes are coming…

The latest Selfish Mother collaboration is an inspired one: producing Petite Pearl Lowe’s amazing sequinned capes for a limited edition run, at a fraction of the cost.

Molly Gunn’s Selfish Mother and The FMLY Store have worked closely with Pearl, who’s signature capes are already highly sought-after pieces, to create a set of limited edition sequin pieces in support of the brilliant Tommy’s charity.

The Petite Pearl Lowe x Selfish Mother mini-collection comprises of sequin capes, handmade in Somerset and is available in four colourways: pink, green, red and turquoise. The pieces are aimed at superhero boys and girls from age 2-12 years old.

The collection will be available to buy exclusively at The FMLY Store in Bruton or online from June 1st, with pre-ordering already under way.

Pearl Lowe, creator of the Petite Pearl Lowe collection, said, “I’ve admired Molly and what she’s achieved with Selfish Mother for a long time. She’s a local girl and I often pop into her FMLY Shop in Bruton, so when she approached me about working together, I jumped at the chance! We brainstormed some ideas and came up with a capsule collection of sequin capes.

“The cape is our best-selling item and is the ultimate dress up piece. I love the idea of fashion being able to give back both in terms of supporting people in need, but also it’s great to be able to make the capes at a more affordable price point, and I’m really pleased with the quality. I’m sure kids will have great fun wearing them!”

Tommy’s charity does amazing work funding research into the causes and prevention of pregnancy complications that lead to miscarriage, stillbirth and premature birth. They also provide an invaluable service providing pregnancy health information to parents.

The Petite Pearl Lowe x Selfish Mother Capes will retail at £60, with £10 from each purchase donated to Tommy’s. Pearl’s capes usually retail for £250. The pieces are exclusively available from The FMLY Store in Bruton, or online at www.theFMLYstore.com.
