Last weekend Pippa Middleton’s wedding saw children’s fashion firmly in the spotlight, for her page boys and flower girls

With Prince George and Princess Charlotte as page boy and bridesmaid, all eyes were always going to be on the royal siblings last weekend at Pippa Middleton’s wedding, and their outfits didn’t disappoint
All the page boys and bridesmaids’ outfits at Pippa Middleton’s wedding to James Matthews were commissioned from Pepa & Co, and designed by Pepa Gonzalez, a talent already well loved by the royal family– Prince George has frequently worn the Spanish label in the past.
There was a lot of attention on the children who were big part of last weekend’s celebration, which was held at the Middletons’ Englefield Estate, first at St Mark’s Church and then at a private marquee event afterwards.
Joining Prince George as page boy were Casimir Tatos, Pippa’s godson and the son of Ari and Marie-Sophie Tatos, Edward Sebire, the son of one of James Matthews’s friends and business associates, and William Ward. Bridesmaids were Princess Charlotte, Pippa’s goddaughter Countess Philippa Hoyos, Lily French, and Avia Horner, daughter of James’ colleague financier Edward Horner and Lady Emily Compton.
The bridesmaids’ outfits were ivory silk with a frilled collar, a nude pink sash and matching trim; bodices featured vintage style lace panels and they had sweet net petticoats underneath. The dresses were worn with ivory opaque tights.
The page boys wore ivory double breasted silk pleated shirts with peter pan collars and co-ordinating trim detail, paired with knickerbockers in pale olive Vienne silk, and matching cummerbund.
Pepa Gonzalez commented: ‘It was truly an honour to be part of this project and I was excited to take on the commission for all Bridesmaid and Page Boy outfits. We have such fond memories of designing these bespoke garments for the children who all look so adorable and cute in their outfits.’
Pepa & Co has also launched its new celebration line for the summer, so you can get the look for your littles at forthcoming events. Designs include her signature classic looks for boys and girls, and they are perfect for everything from summer weddings to festivals and parties.
