Kids Fashion Notes

Comfy outfits they'll actually want to wear this winter...

Kids Fashion Tocoto

Snuggle Up

TOCOTÓ VINTAGE

With a cold snap still ahead, the nostalgic knitwear collection from Spanish brand Tocotó Vintage is just the ticket. We love the sweet little bloomers and ruffled jumpers.

Kids Fashion Cub and Pudding

Layer Up

CUB & PUDDING

Cub & Pudding tick so many boxes when it comes to what we look for in the perfect kids brand. Promoting a more sustainable way of shopping, their seasonless pieces can be layered up or down throughout the year and then passed on to younger siblings as they are unisex too.

Keeping Warm

MINI A TURE

Considering they have colder climes than us to contend with the Scandinavians take their outerwear pretty seriously. Little ones won’t get chilly or wet with the heat quilted collection from Danish brand Mini A Ture – which is made from Oeko-tex certified fabric and built for extreme conditions.

Craft Work

IL GUFO

Italian favourite Il Gufo has gone back to its artisanal roots this season with a focus on craftsmanship. We love all the beautiful detailing, including embellished Pierrot collars, raw cuts and intarsia knits.

Snow Time

MAR MAR COPENHAGEN

If you’re heading to the slopes this winter, Danish brand MarMar Copenhagen have a great range of baselayers, salopettes and snowsuits – without a garish tone in sight. The range uses natural and biodegrable fibres that are better for little ones’ skin and the planet.

Kids Fashion Mori

Brand Focus

MORI

The eco-conscious baby essentials brand open their first store on Battersea’s Northcote Road

With their super-soft fabrics, minimal styling and a socially-conscious approach, MORI became a success almost overnight when they launched online back in 2015. And now the baby essentials brand is taking on the high street with its first standalone store on Battersea’s Northcote Road.

A popular area with young families, it was important to the brand to create a space where parents could meet, connect and relax. A sort of half shopping destination and half community hub, if you will.

The store itself has a dreamy feel – all curved edges, soft lighting and muted pastel paint tones – with a clever divide between the sleepwear and daywear collections. But it’s the thoughtful touches that really make it worth a visit. A giant abacus built into the furniture will occupy toddlers whilst you browse, and there’s a comfy sofa area where you can feed a hungry baby.

But best-of-all there’s a snug area, where the brand will be holding useful talks and events for parents and parents-to-be. They’ve already hosted Zoe Blaskey from Motherkind, and it’s definitely worth checking out their schedule for the new year.
