THE FUTURE IS ELECTRIC

At Audi, the electric future is already here. With 0-62mph acceleration in as little as 3.3 seconds, the Audi e-tron GT and the Audi RS e-tron combine breath-taking power, confident electric all-wheel drive, sophisticated technology and stunning road performance. The new GT e-tron models are living embodiment of the Audi philosophy of progress.

The e-tron GT’s appearance signals more than performance; it embodies Audis vision to be the premium electric car maker of choice. Converging technology with aesthetics, this is more than just an electric car. More than any other, it underlines the Audi philosophy: always challenging the status quo to shape a progressive future. It has a powerful electric drive with quattro: two permanent magnet synchronous motors, one per axle, deliver the torque to all four wheels.

Ultimately, we make it to Devon problem-free, stopping twice to charge just in case. Like making your children go to the loo before leaving the house, it’s better to be safe. The e-tron GT accelerates from rest to an impressive 62mph in 4.1 seconds, while the RS model needs 3.3 seconds (in boost mode in each case). Top speeds are governed at a respective 152mph and 155mph. The front electric motor in the e-tron GT delivers 175 kW (238 PS), to which the rear motor is able to contribute a further 320 kW (435 PS), however both keep reserves available for extreme driving situations, meaning that the sum of their individual outputs exceeds the drive system’s total output of 350 kW (476 PS). Up to 390 kW (530 PS) can be made available for 2.5 seconds in boost mode via launch control.
