Interior Brand Focus: Inside store

Former London interiors boutique Future and Found has been given a fresh look and restyle and is now known as the inside store.

You don’t know what you’ve got ‘til it’s gone, the song says, and not for the first time we find ourselves in deep agreement with the marvellous Joni Mitchell. Case in point: news reaching us that London interiors boutique Future & Found – home to one of the finest selections of design-led furniture and homewares in the nation – was no more.

But wait, what’s that? Future & Found hasn’t shut its doors for good?

Turns out that owner Andrea just decided to give the business a fresh look. Newly remonikered Inside Store, the BFKAFF (Boutique Formerly Known as Future & Found) begins its next chapter with spiffy new branding, an enlarged shop space in London’s Tufnell Park and a reinvigorated approach to showcasing their eminently good taste. Whatever the name above the door, this has always been a boutique for the stylishly modern, stocking furniture and accessories from brands like Hay, Muuto and Ferm Living. But in its new guise, Inside Store has redoubled its efforts to supply visitors (in store and online) with everything from nursery furniture to candles and lighting to linenware. Take a trip to the bricks and mortar shop and you can tour the new showroom, styled like a real apartment and inhabited by a bevy of lucky rescue moggies. Nice touch.
