The makers of the genius Go Everywhere Mat have launched a new line of beautiful handwoven rugs
Words Holly Kirkwood
Avery Row have just launched a beautiful new collection of handmade rugs, from Dash & Albert, for 2017.
You might the brand from their genius Go Everywhere Mat: the indispensable, and portable, baby playmat which mums can take everywhere with them.
Whether it’s a playdate at someone else’s house, a picnic in the park, a day at the beach, a baby yoga class or you’re renting a holiday villa abroad, the Go Everywhere Mat gives your little one a comfortable and cushioned place to play wherever you are. Suitable from newborn upwards, you’ll use it as they get older as well.
The colours and designs are specifically unisex, which means a lot of mums find they use their mats a second and third time for little brothers and sisters. They also make great presents for new mums; the Go Everywhere mats cost £65.
Now new for 2017, Avery Row have just launched a gorgeous new range of hand-woven rugs. The carefully curated collection includes two patterns, Herringbone and Spot, and is in available in a range of colourways.
Each design is made of 100% cotton, and is produced under fair labour and fair market conditions in India; as such, each rug is completely unique.
The colours work perfectly throughout the house, from the sitting room, or the hall to the nursery. From the cheerful pop of the coral to the warm blues and greys, the cool colours have been designed as classics; they’ll last for years.
Our favourites are the coral for a nursery or playroom, and the pretty ocean, or dove grey for a gender neutral nursery or a hallway.
Prices start at £150 for a medium Herringbone rug, to £330 for the large size.
