Let it Snow

Grass & Air
For anyone dreaming of a white Christmas, a pair of wellies for trudging through the snow would be a helpful gift on Santa’s sleigh. The styles from Grass & Air have a cosy fleece lining and reveal colourful raindrops when they get wet.

Dressing Up

Oeuf NYC
Embroidered with words such as ‘sisterhood’ and ‘visionary’, we love the knitted crowns in Oeuf NYC’s new collection. An easy way to make any outfit feel festive.

Hello Simone

Festive Fun

Hello Simone
With ‘70s florals and velvet dungarees, the collection from Parisian  brand Hello Simone is nostalgic and cool in equal measures. We love the sweatshirts – a great alternative to the usual Christmas jumpers.

Mini Rodini

Mini Rodini

Among the first to introduce swimwear made from recycled marine plastic several seasons back, Mini Rodini has upped the progressive ante with each collection since. The brand’s focus on sustainability now sees it use 99% sustainable materials, while the new 4 Elephants capsule, launching 21 November, is a collaboration with Sweden’s Wildhood Foundation. The initiative sees 20% of each garment’s price going to the Akashinga project, which supports women in Zimbabwe to protect and preserve wildlife targeted by poachers.

What’s more, Rhodin has started a process of ensuring all workers in the brand’s partner factories are paid a living (rather than a minimum) wage – so the human angle is covered too. Fantastic news for style-savvy parents, because the AW19 collection is as amazing as ever, with printed puffas, plush padded trousers to keep out the cold and knitwear in styles at once boldly contemporary and subtly retro. We particularly love the backpack in the season’s standout UFO print – Rhodin’s iconic aesthetic at its instantly recognisable best.
