Tried and tested: The Venicci Tinum 2 has arrived

Venicci Tinum 2

Last year we road-tested the original Tinum and the new Tinum SE 2.0 is a superb upgrade in our opinion, with some lovely new features and between the two products you are certainly getting a lot for your money.

The Venicci Tinum 2 has arrived at Absolutely Mama HQ and we are delighted to give our readers a sneak peek of this latest offering. The overall appearance of the Tinum SE in Stylish Black is stunning and it is clear to see that this new addition to the Venicci family is going to be turning heads.

The new colourway is a step up from the original and the fabric has a real luxurious feel to it. The sleek black frame along with the rose gold trims add a beautiful dimension to the whole appearance too. The carry cot offers a deep quilting throughout and as with the original Tinum, the tapered mattress is plush and perfectly cushioned to ensure your baby has the most comfortable ride.

There have been noticeable upgrades to the carrycot and starting with the hood it now offers an additional sunshade and provides much more coverage than the original. The most exciting upgrade to this carrycot however, is the removable panel to provide panoramic airflow. This allows air to circulate inside the carrycot and can be used as an occasional overnight cot. Perfect for trips away when we are finally allowed to venture out again.

The seat unit comes with a swivel bar that is completely removable and the fabric is wipe clean and UV50+. There is a 5 pint harness as expected and the seat reclines full back really smoothly to ensure that your napping little one isn’t disturbed when you lower them down.

The footrest too has been upgraded and has a hidden extension to accommodate your baby as they grow and it is lovely and spacious so they are not going to feel cramped. The seat unit is suitable from birth but we would recommend you use the carrycot until they are sitting up as they might be a little too exposed in the seat alone.

The push bar has also had an upgrade and now comes up much higher to allow for taller people to push at a more comfortable height. There are also two handy connectors here for your changing bag, which comes with the 10 piece bundle set, to keep it in place and is a great feature found across both the Tinum and the Tinum SE. The basket also has plenty of room and there is a hidden panel at the front to extend if you need extra space.

The pushchair is foldable with both the seat unit on or off. To fold, simply bring the backrest inline with the handle and pull the footrest up to meet it and expose the handle, twist the handle to collapse the frame. There is an additional carry strap too to make carrying really easy and it stands unaided when collapsed to save on space. To open it back up again simply pull the handle bar back up again and you’re all set.

The 10 piece bundle which retails from £719.00 – £849.00 comes complete with a car seat, adapters, raincover, changing bag, mosquito net and a beautiful cosy footmuff.
