Following on from our review of The Donkey, Bugaboo discuss why their new multi-purpose pushchair, the Bugaboo Donkey2, is a true game changer.
When we launched the Bugaboo Donkey in 2011, it was a true game-changer. The pushchair brought something completely new to the market. It delivered functionalities no one had seen before, including the ability to instantly transform from a mono to a duo pushchair and extra storage space.
Now, almost seven years later, we are ready to launch a new and improved version. We are excited to introduce the Bugaboo Donkey2, the multi-purpose pushchair that’s ready for more. More adventures, more things to bring on your stroll, and more children. There are several new features to help you get more out of your pushchair, including an updated all-wheel suspension, foam-filled tires, side luggage basket cover, and new palette of fabrics and colours.
More carefree miles
The upgraded pushchair’s enhanced all-wheel suspension and foam-filled tires make for a fun and light-hearted ride. No terrain is too rough for the Bugaboo Donkey2 to tackle. Take it to the beach in two wheeled position, or lock the front wheels straight to take on gravel or snow with the ease of smooth pavement.
More ways to customise
The fabrics on the Bugaboo Donkey2 are available in our latest colour palette so you can customise your pushchair with a range of colour options including ruby red, blue mélange and wave print. Choose from a black or an aluminum chassis.
Super spacious
The name Donkey says it all: spacious pushchair storage means you can bring more along with you. Keep the essentials easily accessible in the expandable side luggage basket and still have room to pick up more along the way in the expandable underseat storage basket. The expandable side luggage basket comes with built-in pockets to keep things organised and a removable cover to keep it all inside. The chassis of the Bugaboo Donkey2 fits through standard doors even when fully extended in duo mode. Easily remove the seat and wheels for storage in even narrower spaces like the trunk of a small car.
Suits growing families
The Bugaboo Donkey2 can be used from birth with a carrycot or for older children. If you have two children of different ages, the Bugaboo Donkey2 can expand into a side-by-side double pushchair or back to a mono configuration in just a few simple clicks. Bugaboo also offers colour-coordinating accessories such as the Bugaboo Footmuff, Bugaboo Seat Liner, and Bugaboo Breezy Sun Canopy. Enhance the pushchair experience by adding a Bugaboo Comfort Wheeled Board or a Bugaboo Smartphone Holder.
The Bugaboo Donkey2 is available now.
